Georgia Tech launched its third at-scale degree in January 2019, a less-than-$10,000 Master of Science in Cybersecurity, building upon the successful model of its Online Master of Science degree in Computer Science and Online Master of Science degree in Analytics, both under $10,000 for the entire degree, which collectively now have over 12,000 enrolled students. In this session, we will open the hood and share our recipe for success in creating these affordable programs from multiple perspectives: mission ang governance, learning design, student services, technology platform, as well as financial modeling. The attendees will leave with an understanding of and better insight into programs at scale and be able to take an action plan back to their campuses

In a rapidly changing world, managing and leading lifelong learning (LLL) centers is becoming increasingly complex. Previously, LLL centers were often a source of pride and revenue for institutions. Since 2011 and with the MOOC excitement, LLL centers have received much scrutiny and attention and with that, enhanced expectations for innovation, revenue, an alignment to university goals. This interactive workshop will identify some of the challenges and fundamental shifts facing LLL centers and provide practical advice and guidance from leaders with decades of experience to those seeking how to navigate during these turbulent times. Hands on activities will give the participants opportunities to apply the strategy and tactics learned to group projects during the workshop.
